WILLIAM ‘BILL’ CAMPBELL
Though we don’t have much information about Bill Campbell, we know that he was one of the early members of the Caribbean Cricket Club set up by Jamaican WW2 veterans in 1948. Widely remembered as “a brilliant batsman who could have played for any team in the world”, Bill left Leeds to settle in Canada in the early 60s.
