THE WEDDING OF EASTON ‘DAN’ BERESFORD POWELL (1925 – 2007) AND ELSIE POWELL nee SINCLAIR (1924 – 2018)
Both hailing from St Elizabeth, Jamaica, Dan settled in Leeds in 1955 with Elsie arriving in 1956. The couple spent a combined 114 years in Britain. On the left is ex RAF serviceman Humphrey Foster, and on the right a family friend identified as ‘Pearl’.
