STERLING NATHANIEL LYNCH (1936 – 2012) AND LILLIAN ‘JENNY’ LYNCH nee BROWN (1945 – 2004)

Sterling and Jenny were born in Jamaica’s ‘garden parish’ St Ann. Sterling migrated to Leeds in 1962 working at West Yorkshire Foundry and later, Yorkshire Imperial Metals. Jenny joined him in 1964 and the couple wed, raising three children. Whilst working at Montague Burton tailoring, Jenny studied hairdressing and opened a hair salon. The much-loved couple were active Jamaica Society Leeds supporters.
