PHYLLIS DERLORIS HINES nee HIBBERT (1934 – 2017)
Phyllis worked in a Montego Bay dress shop before coming to Leeds in 1960 with her husband Cornel. After stints in textiles and engineering, Phyllis was a State Enrolled Nurse at St James Hospital for over 30 years. One of many who built the NHS, Phyllis also gave service to the community as an active Jamaica Society Leeds member.
