GLORIA HESLOP nee THANE (1940 – 2015)
One of six children, Gloria was born in St James, Jamaica where she also met her husband ‘Bobby’. In 1962 she left her two children in the care of her parents to join Bobby in Bradford who had gone ahead to find a home and build a better future for their family. The Heslops moved to Leeds where Gloria worked in catering and Bobby in construction to raise their three children. Gloria is remembered as a fun-loving, stylish woman with an unforgettable smile.
