DANIEL ‘SUNNYMAN’ WARRENTON BLOOMFIELD (1930 – 2018)
Like many Jamaicans Daniel’s childhood nickname, ‘Sunnyman’ or ‘Sunny’, stuck with him for life. The dashing 24 year old swapped the delightfully named Chocolate Hole in St Elizabeth, Jamaica for Leeds in 1954. Known for his sharp suits and even sharper wit, he was a popular figure in the Chapeltown community.
